TWO ARRESTED BY BRENHAM POLICE

Two Brenham residents face charges after a traffic stop by local police, early Tuesday morning.

Police tried to pull over a vehicle in the 400 block of Lubbock Street. The driver, 22-year old John Edenfield of Brenham was arrested and charged with Evading Arrest or Detention With a Vehicle.
A passenger, 38-year old Lakrista Rodriguez of Brenham was placed in custody for an active warrant out of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Both were transported to Washington County Jail where they were booked in.
