BRAZOS CO. YOUTH LIVESTOCK SHOW CANCELLED
Organizers of the Brazos County Youth Livestock Show have announced the cancellation of the annual event.
Tuesday evening, the committees and board members voted to cancel the show amid concerns of COVID-19 and news regarding participants with school program affiliations.
Officials say this is, “not a decision that came lightly, but the concern for the health and safety of the participants are of the highest priority during this unprecedented time.”
The organization will now turn its attention to fundraising for the participants. They plan to offer resale opportunities for exhibitors.
