WASHINGTON CO. CHAMBER CENTRALIZES COMMUNITY RESOURCES

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce has taken steps to centralize information, useful tools, and resources onto its website regarding COVID-19 and the impact to the local community.

According to a release, the Chamber team is working closely with local agencies to provide correct information in a timely manner.

At www.brenhamtexas.com/covid-19, information from the US Chamber of Commerce will be listed, offering tools for businesses to continue to operate effectively.  There is also information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for information about coronavirus activity, communication tools from Texas Health and Human Services, and a link to the Small Business Administration for information about loan programs and resources for businesses impacted by the coronavirus.

In addition to these resources, there are links to local agencies such as the Washington County Office of Emergency Management, the City of Brenham, Brenham and Burton ISDs, the Brenham Economic Development Foundation, and the Blinn College District.

The Chamber says it is committed to serving its members and the community by supporting business, workforce, and quality of life.  It hopes, by centralizing this information into one location, Chamber members and the community can easily access the information needed to plan for their businesses and families.
