BLINN COLLEGE ASKS EMPLOYEES TO WORK FROM HOME

Like many colleges across the country, Blinn College is requesting that all employees work from home for the remainder of the semester.  In a letter sent Wednesday, Blinn Chancellor Mary Hensley asked that all employees that are able to, work from home for the remainder of the spring semester.  All of the students at Blinn have already transitioned to on line classes.  Hensley asked that employees respond to calls and emails in a timely manner and work with their supervisors for their job assignments.

  1. Thank you for the alert. Are the same ethical standards required of employees while working at home as it relates to its student body? Haa Chancellor Mary Hensley and the Board updated rules under these special circumstances as it relates to student/employee socialization?

  2. Question…… If teachers are working from home why are the coaches required to go in and be subject to this virus. Wouldn’t they be safer not being around other people yet? And coming home being around their families and the families not knowing of their surroundings. I’m just saying.

    1. Check your blinn email. They have timed when you are to come to your dorm. Buildings and floors. I’m sure it to pick your things up….but check the email.
