BLINN COLLEGE OPERATIONS RESUME WITH MOST STUDENTS, FACULTY NOW OFF-CAMPUS

While operations at Blinn College did resume today (Monday), its campuses have been mostly deserted.

On Friday, Blinn announced it would postpone the reopening of student housing, food services, and physical libraries at all of its campuses through next Friday, April 3rd, due to ongoing concerns about COVID-19.

All courses have moved to an online format, save for select labs that were unable to do so, and most employees are now working remotely.

Some on-campus services, such as learning, writing, and testing centers and computer labs will be open and available to students on a limited basis.  However, according to Blinn Communications Director Richard Bray, those facilities are closed today and tomorrow (Tuesday) as the College assesses student need.

Students without alternative housing options, including foster and international parents, can contact becky.mcbride@blinn.edu.
