“NALA”, “ALIYAH” NAMED PETS OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Aliyah” and “Nala” as its Pets of the Week.

Aliyah and Nala are both American Terrier Mixes, three to four years old.  Brenham Animal Services staff say the two came in together as strays, and are very sweet girls who love to be around other people.  The two walk well on a leash and appear to be house trained, and have also been spayed.

Staff say Aliyah loves to run and play, and appreciates gentle and loving pets.  She gets along great with Nala, but may need to be an only dog in a new home.  Meanwhile, Nala seems to do well around other dogs, and loves toys.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is currently closed to visitors, but adoptions are still available by browsing the shelter’s list of pets online at www.petfinder.com, then calling to make an appointment at 979-337-7351.  Appointments are being accepted Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.
