SEALY MAN KILLED IN SINGLE-VEHICLE ACCIDENT NEAR SEALY
A Sealy man was killed in a one-vehicle accident Monday afternoon west of Sealy.
The accident occurred shortly before 12:45 p.m. on Borgel Road. According to DPS Sergeant Stephen Woodard, a southbound 2005 Ford F-150 traveled off of the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, identified as 76-year-old John Klotz, was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy, where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation, and further details are not available at this time.
