BRAZOS CO. REPORTING 12TH COVID-19 DEATH, THREE NEW CASES
Brazos County has reported a 12th COVID-19 patient has died.
The Brazos County Health District announced this (Monday) morning the patient was a woman in her 80s who was on hospice care. Officials did not say if the patient had underlying health conditions.
Currently, according to the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, Brazos County ranks among the top ten counties in the state for the highest amount of fatalities linked to the virus.
Three new positive COVID-19 cases were also reported, bringing the total number of cases to 143 and the number of active cases to 102.
Health officials said there have been 29 patient recoveries, while nine people remain hospitalized.
