LOCAL ELKS LODGE AIDS SENIOR CENTER
The Brenham Elks Lodge recently made a donation to local seniors.
The local lodge recently presented a check in the amount of $2500.00 to the Washington County Healthy Living Association Senior Center to help provide needed food and personal care items.
Elks Exalted Ruler Clayton Wallace says the donation to the center should keep members out of the stores and in a safe home environment.
Barbara Hemmer, a member of the Board, praised the Lodge for their immediate reponse to the community need.
