WASHINGTON CO. NOW REPORTING 11 COVID-19 RELATED DEATHS, 85 CONFIRMED CASES
Three more COVID-19 patients in Washington County have died.
Thursday, EMS officials confirmed the deaths in Brenham women in their 70s, 80s, and 90s. This brings the number of COVID-19 patients who have died in Washington County to 11.
The confirmed case count in Washington County is now at 85, after ten new cases were confirmed Thursday. One case initially confirmed Wednesday, which brought the total count to 76, was moved to Thursday’s count, bringing it down to 75.
Of the 60 active cases, three patients remain hospitalized. Fourteen people have recovered from the virus.
According to the Washington County Joint Information Center (JIC), an estimated 435 COVID-19 tests have been performed on county residents within the county as of Thursday afternoon. The number does not include non-county residents.
