LOCAL WOMAN ARRESTED ON D.W.I. CHARGE
Brenham Police arrested a local woman early Sunday morning after she was found asleep behind the wheel of her vehicle.
Authorities were called to the 1800 block of East Tom Green Street, just before 1:00 a.m.
They report that 32-year old Melissa Carlson of Brenham was found at the wheel of her vehicle, asleep.
Carlson was ruled to be intoxicated and taken into custody on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Alcohol Container.
