COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS VACANT CONSTABLE POST

  

Washington County Commissioners are expected to discuss a new constable for Precinct 2, when they meet Tuesday morning.

At this week’s meeting, commissioners will discuss and could vote on the vacancy in the Precinct 2 office, created with the death last week of long-time Constable Butch Faske.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the commissioners are expected to:

Discuss and vote on a request for new security system equipment for the Courthouse Annex and Landgraf House.

Discuss a request for a tankless hot water system for the Washington County Jail.

Discuss a Subdivision Variance Request for land off FM 1371 in Precinct 2.

They are also expected to accept a donation from the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce.

County Commissioners meet Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the Washington County Courthouse Annex.
