Washington County is reporting three new cases of the Covid-19, bringing the number of total cases in the county to 210.

The new cases are reported in a man in his 30’s and two women in their 50’s.

The three new cases are all the result of community spread and are being treated at home.

After the new recoveries were reported Wednesday, the county now has 96 recovered cases.  Two of the latest recoveries were reported in patients at the Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (BNRC), which itself has a total of 42 recoveries.

At the BNRC, 87 residents and 24 employees make up the facility’s 111 positive cases, with 45 of them being active.  One patient is hospitalized, while 24 have died.

As of Wednesday, an estimated 2,336 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the county, with 223 of those coming from the BNRC.
