TWO ARRESTED ON LOCAL THEFT CHARGES

A Brenham man and a Houston woman have been charged with theft, after a local convenience store reported the theft of beer.
This morning, just before 1:00, police were called to the Valero’s Store on State Highway 105.

Police located the suspect’s vehicle in the 700 block of Rebecca Circle.
After investigation, 38-year old Early Newsome of Brenham was taken into custody for Theft of Property—Less than $2500 with two or More Previous Convictions.
32-year old Sharene Moorehead of Houston was taken into custody for Theft Less than $100.
