BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED TO FOUR YEARS FOR ASSAULT

A Brenham man has been sentenced to four years in prison after his conviction on a family violence charge.
29-year old Amadeo Gillermo Arce was arrested back on March 3rd of this year on a charge of Assault of a Family Member—Impeding Breath/Circulation—a Third Degree Felony.
Police were called out to the 700 block of Weldon Trace, early on the morning of March 3rd, where a victim claimed they had been assaulted by Arce.
Also in 21st Judicial District Court, Judge Carson Campbell revoked the probation of 32-year old Michael Ray Hooks of Brenham.
Hooks was then sentenced to one year in jail and fined $595 for an April 2017 arrest for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
