BLUEBONNET OPRY RETURNS THURSDAY NIGHT WITH THREE PERFORMERS

The Friends of Bluebonnet Opry are back after three months of absence due to COVID-19.

Silver Wings Ballroom in Brenham will open up tonight (Thursday) for the Bluebonnet Opry’s first performance since February.  Tonight’s show will feature David Lewis of Bellville, Linda Robinson of Moulton, and Coby Carter of Pleasanton.

Carter said he is looking forward to making sure everyone has a fun time tonight.

In accordance with the state’s regulations for reopening, the ballroom, located in Brenham at 4100 Highway 105, will be allowed to have up to 500 people in attendance at this time.  Attendees will be asked to practice social distancing as much as possible, and are encouraged to wear masks.  Drinks will be served by staff, and chairs will be arranged for two to ten people with the rows further apart than normal.

Doors to the ballroom open at 5:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $7 at the door, with proceeds from tickets and concessions benefitting Hospice Brazos Valley.
