REV. RANDY WELLS LAUNCHING INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY: “BUILDING BRIDGES TO THE BAHAMAS”
The always active Reverend Randy Wells, well known for his ministry in Washington County and work with Faith Mission, is expanding his ministry internationally.
Rev. Wells has created a radio show called “Building Bridges to the Bahamas” that will be broadcast on two radio stations. Every Sunday at noon, the show will broadcast on KLTR 94.1 Lite FM in Brenham. The show will also be carried every first and third Thursday at 6 p.m. on Dove 103.7 FM, the Grand Bahamas gospel radio station. The program launches July 2nd in the Bahamas, and July 5th in Brenham.
Rev. Wells said he hopes this show can share the gospel message while also providing opportunities to learn about happenings in the Bahamas.
Rev. Wells said his passion for the Bahamas began in 2016 when he was invited by a member of the church he pastored at in New Orleans from 1998-2005. He then returned June 10, 2017 to serve as the keynote speaker for the West Grand Bahamas Youth Development Association’s 25th annual Youth Leadership Conference.
After two strong hurricanes hit the Bahamas in three years, and now with the global COVID-19 pandemic, Rev. Wells said he is grateful to have the opportunity to assist however he can.
The program is being sponsored by the Best Western Hotel of Brenham, and its first guest will be Brenham gospel artist Tamesha Pruett-Ray, who is also providing the theme song for the show.
