BOMBERS TO OPEN 2020 T.C.L. SEASON AT HOME TUESDAY

The Brazos Valley Bombers will open the 2020 season, Tuesday night at Travis Park in Bryan.

The Bombers, the defending Texas Collegiate League champions, will host one of the new teams to the league, the Round Rock Hairy Men at 7:00.

This season’s Bombers’ roster includes four current or former Blinn Buccaneers, including: Henry Bird (P); Cody Collins (P); Preston Hoffart (C); and Caden Homniok (IF).  A complete Bombers roster is not currently available.

Each team in the TCL is scheduled to play 30 games followed by the best-of-three championship series.

The 2020 TCL features: The Bombers; Acadiana Cane Cutters; Amarillo Sod Dogs; Amarillo Sod Squad; Frisco RoughRiders; Round Rock Hairy Men; San Antonio Flying Chanclas; Tulsa Drillers; Texarkana Twins; and Victoria Generals.

Bombers officials say Travis Park can handle about 1,000 fans, safely socially distanced.
