  1. I spoke to a woman last week at work, she went to the mobile testing places 4 times (both here and in College Station). the first 3 times the test came back as pos/neg, the 4th one said she was positive. so she went to her doctor and he tested her and it came back as negative. she asked about the other test and he told her, they are unreliable. so who should we listen too! and I am sure all the test counted somewhere in the data, out there.

  2. WOW, just wow! Numbers still going up. Wear a mask people. Everyone has to do it to get these numbers down and kids back in school and the return of a good economy.

    1. There are 29 million people in Texas and 2800 have died from this virus, if you can trust the data.
Most of EVERYONE will be fine.
Wearing a mask will help some, in certain situations, but it will still spread because it is contagious enough, and mild enough to keep going.
If you want to wear a mask, do it.
Just please stop telling people what to do.
      Thanks a bunch!

      1. And accept your $250 fine if you choose civil disobedience. It’s your choice, as you imply.

        1. Or, maybe just wear a mask. It sucks, it’s hot and you look a little funny, but maybe it will save someone’s grandmother from getting sick and dying. I’m willing to give up a little comfort and “liberty” to make things a bit safer for at risk people.

      2. J.D. – 32 people from Washington County have died from COVID-19. For a small community, that is significant. Your comment demonstrates a complete disregard for others safety and lives. Human lives should not be collateral, if wearing a mask can save even ONE life, it’s worth it.

I’m assuming you wear a seatbelt or use other precautions to avoid losing your life in a wreck, correct? The Texas average wreck fatality count is ~3,000 per year – almost the same as the current COVID-19 death rate count (2,715). So with your reasoning, no one should wear seatbelts or use blinkers when driving because 3,000 dead Texans is nothing compared to our total population? Most of everyone will be fine right? Shameful. You should be ashamed of yourself.

    2. The virus is not going anywhere. You think that if everyone wears a mask that it will go AWAY LOL Wearing a mask just prolongs the problem, it doesn’t cure the problem. The only way the virus will die out is if everyone gets it.

      1. “There is no common sense anymore” obviously you have no common sense. So you’re telling me that Polio doesn’t exist anymore in America because everyone contracted it? Nope, it was because they found a vaccine. People get the flu EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Exposure is not the cure-all for ending a pandemic. Educate yourself and please wear a mask.

  3. Why doesn’t the numbers of cases add up right? When you take the total case minus all of the other number it doesn’t come up to zero. I’m I missing something
