“FELIX” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has again named “Felix” as its Pet of the Week.

Felix is a domestic shorthair kitten, about four months old.  Brenham Animal Services staff say Felix is an affectionate, high-energy kitten who likes to be hugged and loves his toys.  Staff say he will likely be a lap cat when he is older.

Felix has been harness trained, and with a little more practice should do well on a leash.  Staff say he will be happiest with a companion animal, either a patient and older animal or one his own age and size that is willing to play with him.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is still closed to visitors, but anyone interested in adopting or fostering a pet can see the shelter’s available pets online at www.petfinder.com.  Appointments can be made by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page.  Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
