The Austin County Fair Shrimp Boil is set for tonight (Friday) at the Austin County Fairgrounds.

The drive-thru fundraiser will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m., giving attendees servings of shrimp, potatoes, and corn for $30 a person.

Auction items have been posted on the Austin County Fair Facebook page, with bidding ending tonight at 8 p.m.

All proceeds from the meal and the auction will benefit the Austin County Fair Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Austin County Fair will announce this year’s entertainment lineup tonight at 7:30 p.m.  The lineup will be posted at www.austincountyfair.com, and on the fair’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.

Tickets for the shrimp boil can be purchased through the website, from any Fair Board Director, at the First National Bank of Bellville, or at the Austin County Fair Office.
