OLD NAVASOTA ROAD BRIDGE AT NEW YEAR’S CREEK TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR REPAIRS

  

Update - The Washington County Road and Bridge Department reports at 2:25 Friday afternoon, that the repairs are complete and the roadway has been reopened.

The Washington County Road and Bridge Department has closed the Old Navasota Road bridge at New Year’s Creek for repairs.

County Engineer Ross McCall said the bridge, located between the addresses of 1231 and 1500 Old Navasota Road, is being closed for minor repairs to the bridge decking.

McCall expects the bridge to be opened back up to traffic at the start of next week.

Drivers are asked to observe all warning signs and choose an alternate route.
