STORY WALK COMING TO BRENHAM MONDAY

Beginning Monday, pages from the children’s book “Dragons Love Tacos” will decorate a number of windows of downtown Brenham businesses as part of Downtown Brenham Story Walk.

Participants can pick up a map guiding them to each of page of the story.  There will also be a QR Code available for a downloadable Google map of the participating locations.

Participants use the map to locate and read each colorful story page, posted on the business’ windows.

This free event is presented by Main Street Brenham, the Book Nook and Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library, and will be available the remainder of July and the month of August.

Participants will be expected to “mask up” per the governor’s mandate and to practice social distancing. Hand sanitizing stations are available in multiple downtown locations

The Visitor Center, located at 115 West Main St., is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 979-337-7580 or go to VisitBrenhamTexas.com.  There is also more information located within the Downtown Brenham Facebook “event”.
