CUBS FOOTBALL SEASON SHORTENED TO NINE GAMES–LOSE GAME AT BRYAN
The Brenham Cubs found out yesterday their 2020 schedule has been cut to nine regular season games this season instead of 10.
According to Coach Eliot Allen, District 13-5A made the decision to add an extra off week this year and move the start of district play up one week.
Which means the Cubs will have two non-district games and seven district contests.
The Cubs will lose their final non-district game which was scheduled to be at Bryan against the Vikings. They will still face Magnolia West and Magnolia in pre-district competition.
Coach Allen says the exact schedule is still being worked out.
The season opener remains against Magnolia West, Friday, September 25th at Cubs Stadium. The following week, the Cubs will travel to Magnolia, then get ready for 13/5A action.
