LOVE FOR LOIS BENEFIT SATURDAY AT HARMONIE HALL IN SHELBY
A benefit to support a local school teacher who has been diagnosed with ALS is set for tomorrow (Saturday) at the Harmonie Hall in Shelby.
The “Love for Lois” benefit, supporting 35-year veteran school teacher Lois Albright, will feature a pork steak meal with all the trimmings catered by Goebel Catering, a live and silent auction, and live music from the Risky Liver Band. Drive-thru meals will be served from 4 to 6 p.m., and dine-in meals from 5 to 7 p.m.
All proceeds will help cover the medical expenses of Albright.
Tickets bought for the event’s original date of April 18th will be honored. New tickets can be purchased for $12 at Shelby Store, Round Top State Bank, Kenjura Tile, Fayetteville Propane, Industry State Bank, Robert’s Service Station, and K&M Grocery.
Donations for Albright are being accepted at Bank of Brenham.
