WASHINGTON CO. APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD TO ADOPT BUDGET TUESDAY
The Washington County Appraisal District Board will meet Tuesday to adopt the district’s 2020-21 budget.
The proposed budget for the new year is $911,494, an increase of $900 dollars over the 2019-20 budget. The change comes from a $900 increase in cost for professional and contracted services for copier maintenance.
Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the board will discuss the implementation of salary steps for staff members. It will also hear a financial report and a report from Chief Appraiser Willy Dilworth.
The board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Brenham ISD Tax Office at 1301 Niebuhr Street.
