STILL CREEK RANCH CANCELS CLAY SHOOT FUNDRAISER, SCHEDULES VIRTUAL “HORSE PLOP” FOR AUGUST 29TH
Still Creek Ranch has cancelled this year’s PULL! Clay Shooting Tournament Fundraiser in Bryan due to COVID-19, but has also announced a virtual fundraiser to take its place.
The nonprofit organization is now selling tickets for its inaugural Horse Plop, to be held August 29th. The floor of the Still Creek Arena will be divided into even squares based on the number of tickets sold, with each square counting as one ticket.
The day of the fundraiser, three horses will be placed in the arena. The first prize winner will be announced once the first horse “plops”, with the next two “plops” granting the second and third place prizes. The Still Creek Ranch team will announce the winning square after each plop via livestream.
Tickets are being sold for $20. There will be a random drawing for squares, with results of the drawing being posted online and emailed to ticketholders. Online purchases can be made until August 24th, and mailed-in forms must be received by Still Creek no later than the 24th. Ticket selections will be posted on August 26th.
Proceeds from the event will go directly toward Still Creek Ranch’s mission of rescuing at-risk children and providing Christian upbringings.
