BELLVILLE MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG, WEAPON POSSESSION
A Bellville man is free on bond after a drug and weapon arrest Monday in Washington County.

Monday afternoon, Sheriff’s Patrol Sergeant Fay Janes-Busse responded to Highway 36 North to a reported reckless driver. Janes-Busse located the driver on Highway 290 near Old Mill Creek, and after following the vehicle and seeing the driver commit several traffic violations, stopped the vehicle on Highway 36 South.
Upon making contact with the driver, 20-year-old Hector Raul Flores, Janes-Busse detected the odor of marijuana from within the vehicle and conducted a probable cause search. Inside, she located two plastic baggies of cocaine weighing 7.8 grams, along with pills identified as Alprazolam. She also found a 9mm Glock pistol in his waistband and 30 live 9mm rounds.
Flores was arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. He posted $58,000 bond and was released from custody.
