BRENHAM ISD SEEKING PARENT COMMITMENT FORMS FOR UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR

Brenham ISD is asking parents to make sure they fill out their commitment forms selecting the form of instruction their students will take on when school starts August 25th.

Tuesday, Brenham ISD parents received an audio message and an email notifying them of the importance of parent input regarding the method of instruction they choose for their student this school year.

The commitment form sent to parents asks them whether their child will attend school in-person or virtually, or if they wish to withdraw their child from the school district.  Parents are asked to fill out a survey for each student in their home.

The choice parents make will lock the student into the chosen instructional method for one grading period, after which they can change their form of instruction by contacting campus administration.  No answer to the form will automatically place the child in the face-to-face instructional model.

According to Communications Director Veronica Johannsen, the district has currently logged over 1,200 responses to the commitment forms.

The deadline to submit responses is next Wednesday, August 12th.  To fill out a commitment form, visit www.brenhamisd.net, or click the link here.
