WASHINGTON CO. LADIES LIONS NAME LION, ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

  

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club has named its 2019-20 award winners.

At the Lions’ July meeting, Pat Lueckemeyer was named this year’s Lion of the Year, and Judy Hulsey was named Rookie of the Year.

Lueckemeyer was presented with her award by the 2018-19 Lion of the Year, Peggy Kramer.  Immediate Past President Janna Alsobrook said Lueckemeyer, a charter member of the Lions Club, is very deserving of the award.

Hulsey was presented her award by the 2018-19 Rookie of the Year, Bette Tofel.

The club also named 20 members with perfect attendance.  The members each received a pin.

Outgoing President Alsobrook was also presented a floral arrangement by incoming President Kramer.  The July meeting ended with Lueckemeyer presiding over a tribute to LaVerne Krumrey.
