CALDWELL LAUNCHES PLANNING CAMPAIGN FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
The City of Caldwell is now seeking public input in the development of a city-wide comprehensive master plan.
Today (Monday), the city launched a planning campaign for the master plan, which is a broad, long-range document exploring topics like land use, infrastructure, housing, and economic development. Upon adoption, the Caldwell City Council will utilize the plan in further decision-making for the city.
Through December of 2021, the city will take feedback from residents to shape the overall vision of the plan, to be developed alongside the Texas Target Communities (TxTC) program at Texas A&M University.
A representative task force team consisting of community leaders and key stakeholders will be selected by TxTC and participate in meetings with the planning team and citizens. Most meetings will be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
