BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

An afternoon traffic stop, Tuesday, led to the arrest of a Brenham man on multiple charges.
Just after 4:00 p.m., local police pulled over a pickup in the 500 block of Highway 290 East.
According to police, the driver, 34-year old Dustin Morgan of Brenham, admitted to having narcotics in the vehicle.
Morgan was taken into custody for numerous charges, including: two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
He was also arrested on an outstanding Class C Municipal Warrant.
