LOCAL POLICE ARREST WEIMAR MAN ON FAMILY VIOLENCE CHARGE

A Weimar man has been arrested by Brenham Police on a domestic violence charge.
Thursday night, just after 9:30, police were called to a disturbance in the 300 block of U.S. 290 West.
55-year old David Scott of Weimar was taken into custody on a charge of Assault Family Violence.
He was also wanted for Probation Violation out of Fayette County.
Scott was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
