DEADLINE MONDAY TO APPLY FOR “LEADERSHIP WASHINGTON CO.”
Today (Monday) is the last day to submit applications for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s annual leadership development program.
“Leadership Washington County” is a ten-month program that trains current and future leaders from all parts of the community, with participants who are representatives of Chamber member organizations.
The goal of the program is to develop and equip leaders in the county through hands-on experiences and learning opportunities, while promoting community awareness and engagement.
The program involves a time commitment of one day a month, and a tuition fee covering program expenses including materials, hand-outs, a custom shirt, and any special travel arrangements that may be required.
The program schedule is tentatively set to begin September 2nd with an orientation meeting, but is subject to change to accommodate current health and safety protocols. A graduation banquet will be held next May.
Applicants will be notified of their selection into the program by August 24th.
