NBA PLAYOFF GAMES POSTPONED AMID PROTEST OVER SHOOTING

The Milwaukee Bucks' decision to not take the floor for Game 5 of their first-round playoff series against the Orlando Magic prompted the NBA to postpone all three games scheduled for Wednesday.

That includes the Houston Rockets' game against Oklahoma City.

The teams are protesting the shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin of Jacob Blake by police there.  Blake was shot in the back seven times by police.

The NBA said the three games will be rescheduled for Friday.  Thursday's games remain on-schedule at this time.

Three Major League Baseball games were also cancelled due to player protest.

  1. NBA teams refusing to play,…..how much I care=zero. Hope the owners refuse to pay these over paid divas!

  2. Blake was shot because he had a knife and refused to comply with police instructions.

Let the teams that protest forfeit their games and their salaries. Let the justice system do it’s work here. The goal of these protests is to bypass our justice system and let the mob determine guilt or innocence without a proper investigation. The media continues to fan the flames by providing only one side of the story and only covering stories that promote their narrative. When a white person is killed by the police, justly or unjustly, it doesn’t get the same attention. Although statistics show it happens just as often.

      1. What is yours?
Let me guess, cops are bad, people with restraining orders that are trying to hurt their ex are good people? Not complying with police officers is a good idea?
        White or black, bad idea.
If I did that, I would have been shot, just as you would have.
If we, as a society in America, do not have rules, laws, and people to enforce them, then we WILL have anarchy.
If you think that it is bad now, wait until the law abiding citizens think it is an anarchist free-for-all.
There will be an exponentially greater amount of people shot dead.
Most of all of the people that get into confrontations with police, and get hurt or killed, deserve it.
Sorry to say, that is the truth.
This is a country founded on follow basic rules and laws.
        Without that, we have nothing.
