SERIES OF ACCIDENTS KEEPS RESPONDERS BUSY MONDAY
Authorities were called to a two-vehicle accident north of Brenham, Monday afternoon.
Just before 2:00 p.m. authorities were called to Highway 36 North at the intersection of West Blue Bell Road.
Two vehicles had collided at the intersection, with one person trapped in one of the vehicles.
The Brenham Fire Department used cutters and a spreader to free the victim.
There is no word on the extent of any injuries in the crash.
Also Monday, authorities were called out to minor accidents: At 8:00 a.m. on Highway 290 West at the Cloverleaf; East Stone and South Blue Bell Road, just after 12:30; and, just after midnight on FM 2621 at Sandy Hill Road in Independence.
No serious injuries were reported in any of the accidents.
