Activities for the Colorado County Fair get underway this (Wednesday) evening at the Colorado County Fairgrounds in Columbus.

Like many other fairs in the region, this year’s fair has been trimmed down in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The fair is only being held as a Queens Pageant, parade, and youth exhibitor event.

The Fair Queen and Junior Fair Queen Pageants will be held tonight starting at 6 p.m. at the Founders Hall at the fairgrounds.

Livestock shows begin tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 8 a.m. and continue Friday starting at 7 a.m.

The check-in and show dates and times for the Colorado County Fair.

The fair parade will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. in downtown Columbus.  The Junior Livestock Auction will also be held Saturday, starting at 1 p.m.

Updates on the fair are available on the Colorado County Fair Facebook page and www.coloradocountyfair.org.
