BURN BANS LIFTED IN AREA COUNTIES
BURN BAN STILL EFFECTIVE IN AUSTIN, GRIMES COUNTIES
Several area counties rescinded their burn bans this week.
Officials in Burleson, Fayette, Lee, and Colorado Counties lifted their bans on outdoor burning this week.
The counties join Brazos, Madison, Milam, Robertson, and Waller Counties, who have also dropped their bans in recent days. Washington County has not instituted a ban.
At this time, Austin and Grimes Counties are the only area counties with burn bans still in place.
