Royalty was crowned Sunday night at the Burleson County Fairgrounds with the announcement of the 2020 Burleson County Fair Queen.

Kyleigh Hruska was named Fair Queen, as well as first place in hi-point ticket sales.  Of the five fair queen candidates, Rachel Novosad was named first runner-up, Tess Homeyer received second runner-up, and third runner-up went to Riley Green.

Also announced Sunday night was the winner of the fair’s Little Miss contest.  Brooklyn Hafernick was named Little Miss out of 21 contestants, with first runner-up going to Henley Vasquez, second runner-up to Adalyne Owen, and third runner-up to Dusty Urbanovsky.

Youth projects will begin arriving at the fairgrounds today (Monday) ahead of the Ag Mechanics Show today at 1 p.m.  Livestock judging begins tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7 a.m. with rabbit judging, with livestock activities continuing throughout the week.
