FIREFIGHTERS BATTLE FIRE AT HOME SOUTHWEST OF BRENHAM

Multiple fire departments battled a house fire this (Friday) afternoon southwest of Brenham.

At approximately 2 p.m., the Brenham, Chappell Hill, and Salem Fire Departments responded to a fire at a home in the 3800 block of FM 332.

Units fought the fire from inside and outside the home by cutting a hole in the roof.

According to Brenham Fire Chief Ricky Boeker, tankers began to leave the scene at around 3 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
