TWO ARRESTED ON LOCAL D.W.I. CHARGES THIS WEEKEND

Brenham Police made a pair of arrests over the weekend for Driving While Intoxicated.
Friday morning just after 10:30, local police pulled over a vehicle in the 800 block of U.S. Highway 290 West, just east of the DPS office.
57-yeare old John Charles Griggs of Chappell Hill was arrested for Third offense Driving While Intoxicated.

Then, Saturday evening, just after 6:00, police detained 46-year old Phillip Dickens near the intersection of South Baylor and East Chauncy streets, one block west of South Market Street.
Authorities were responding to a welfare concern.
Dickens was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and taken to the Washington County Jail.
