WALLER COUNTY CROWNS FAIR ROYALTY

  

The 75th Waller County Fair is now underway and has named its fair royalty.

The Fair Queen’s Contest Saturday night saw Madelyn Wawarofsky take home the title of Fair Queen.  Wawarofsky, one of seven candidates, was also named Miss Photogenic and High Sponsor.

Lilly Rinehart was named Fair Princess, and Harlie Kuhn was named Fair Duchess.  Fourth Runner-Up was McKennah Youngs.

Jenna Rice won Miss Congeniality, while Olivia Elizalde won High Tickets Sales.

Livestock judging opened Sunday with the market rabbit, turkey, and broiler shows.  Judging will resume today (Monday) with the breeding doe, market goat, and lamb shows, followed by team roping at 7 p.m. in the rodeo arena.  Judging will take place through Thursday, ahead of the Junior Livestock and Exhibit Auction Saturday at 1 p.m.

After a performance Saturday night from Glen Templeton, remaining entertainment includes Randall King Thursday night, Jon Stork Friday night, and Josh Ward Saturday night.  All concerts are being held at the rodeo arena.
