NEW HOMES LEAD SEPTEMBER BUILDING PERMITS
New homes made up a sizable portion of September’s building permits issued by the City of Brenham.
Nine new homes were permitted by the city in September for $1,457,996. The largest permit in September was issued to Allen Kolby Inc. for $500,000 for a new home in the 2800 block of Twisted Oak Drive.
So far this year, 61 new homes have been permitted for $8,256,271.
The city issued 29 permits in September worth $2,369,298, compared to 20 permits for $700,770 last September.
In 2020, the city has issued 220 permits for $75,036,967. At this time last year, the city had issued 216 permits for $35,014,045.
