LCSP ARENA IN GIDDINGS HOSTING 12TH ANNUAL SHANE HANCHEY INVITATIONAL SUNDAY
Giddings will play host to the largest calf roping event in the world this weekend.
The 12th Annual Shane Hanchey Invitational will feature 60 calf ropers tomorrow (Sunday) at the Lee County Sheriff’s Posse Arena, with introduction beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The open calf roping invitational will have a 100 percent payback with a minimum of $80,000 in prize money. The winner will receive a Joey Sonnier custom saddle.
Anyone who wishes to attend can do so by providing a donation at the gate. The donation will go to the Cash Moore Foundation.
