TWO JAILED AFTER LOCAL WEEKEND ARRESTS

Two people are in custody after their arrests this weekend in Brenham.
Friday morning, just after 7:00, Police were dispatched to a suspicious person at a vacant residence in the 600 block of Peachtree Drive.
Upon arrival, officers found that 37-year old Eric Hughes of Brenham entered the residence without the owners’ consent.

Hughes was placed in custody for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation.
Early Sunday morning, just after 1:30, police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Lauraine Street in reference to a disturbance.
26-year old Michelle Sanchez of Brenham was arrested for Burglary of Habitation with Intent to Commit Assault.
Sanchez was taken to the Washington County Jail.
