ARREST MADE IN CONNECTION WITH COLLEGE STATION DEATH

  

An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a young woman in College Station, Tuesday.

Police have taken 22-year old Christian Gomez Gonzalez of Lewisville into custody on a charge of Tampering with Evidence in the homicide of 19-year old Angie Crystal Saucedo.

Saucedo was found dead by her roommate inside their apartment on Holleman Drive.

Gonzalez was taken into custody after police spent the day, Wednesday, searching a landfill in Grimes County.

No details of the search or Gonzalez’s relationship to the case have been released by College Station Police.

No preliminary cause of death has been released.  Police did say Wednesday the death was of a suspicious nature and detectives were speaking with anyone who might have interacted with her prior to her death.
