CZECH HERITAGE FESTIVAL & MUZIKY OCTOBER 17TH IN LA GRANGE
The Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center (TCHCC) in La Grange is getting ready to host its annual Heritage Festival and Muziky celebration.
Anyone interested in learning more about Czech culture is invited to the festival, set for next Saturday, October 17th at the TCHCC complex at 250 West Fairgrounds Road.
The festival opens at 10 a.m. and will feature Czech heritage demonstrations, tours of the saw mill and newspaper museum, and antique tractor and car shows. Food and drinks will be available.
The Dujka Brothers will perform live for the SPJST Octoberfest on the Deck from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The music will also be broadcast live on the TCHCC Facebook page. The festival will round out with a fireworks finale at 9:30 p.m., sponsored by H-E-B.
