CALDWELL LAUNCHING COMPREHENSIVE MASTER PLAN ENGAGEMENT TOOLS
PUBLIC INVITED TO PARTICIPATE THROUGH OCTOBER 30TH
The City of Caldwell is launching a set of engagement tools and activities for the public to give feedback on the city’s comprehensive master plan.
The engagement tools were developed by the Texas Target Communities (TxTC) program at Texas A&M University, and will allow members of the community to voice their ideas and thoughts on how the city will change and grow over the next 20 years.
City officials say the public is highly encouraged to participate throughout the next few weeks, as this stage is a critical part in developing the master plan. These engagement tools and resources will be available until October 30th.
The public can participate online using Social Pinpoint, which is available by visiting www.caldwelltx.gov/cmp. For residents lacking access to computers or mobile devices, they can visit the Harrie P. Woodson Library or Caldwell City Hall to participate in the engagement. They can also leave feedback at any time by calling or texting 979-258-1118.
Paper surveys and maps will be mailed out to all city residents. Those who complete the online engagement do not need to complete the paper activities. The completed paper surveys and maps can be mailed back in the stamped envelope addressed to Caldwell City Hall.
TxTC will also be hosting roundtable discussions with local stakeholders this month. Residents may be contacted via email or phone call to participate in one of these discussions. City officials say in-person engagement exercises will begin once COVID-19 is less of a concern in the community.
