BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
A Wednesday afternoon call to Brenham Police leads to an assault arrest.
Just after 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, police were called to the 900 block of Ben Drive, off South Chappell Hill Street for alleged assault.
At the scene, officers took 35-year old Brian Thomas Welch into custody. He is charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
