KWHI TO AIR VETERANS DAY PROGRAMMING
The Washington County Veterans Association has cancelled its annual in-person Veterans Day program due to continued restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, KWHI will still air Veterans Day programming on Wednesday, November 11th, starting at 11 a.m. The program, conducted by the combined veterans organizations of Washington County, will feature patriotic music and messages from local elected officials.
Following the program, there will be a drive-thru meal at the American Legion Hall, along with a drawing. Tickets for the meal and the drawing are available from all local veterans groups.
The program will be carried on KWHI AM 1280, FM 101.7, kwhi.com, and the KWHI mobile app.
